From Madi “For me this was such a special appointment, as Jess and her sister came to a double booking in the boutique. With both girls having such different styles, it was a really fun time finding them both something unique that expressed their different styles and personality . we even managed to find a veil they could share.”
Our wedding was at Cripps Barn and given the restrictions we had 19 guests, we kept it to our immediate family so we weren’t torn between choosing 11 friends between us. We are going back to Cripps Barn in 2022 for a party so get to have 2 weddings days! It was a lovely, very intimate day with lots of happy tears. The ceremony room is just beautiful and made the cosy intimate feeling with the storm candles and stunning Cotswolds brick.
I went dress shopping with my 2 sisters and my mum. My younger sister was getting married too so we went dress shopping together and both chose our dress on the same day; first shop. Madi just knew what we wanted even though we were clueless- she was so helpful. When I tried on my dress I just loved it, I felt so beautiful in it but still felt like me. Loved how it was a blush and so sparkly! It also felt so special going altogether, I didn’t want to go anywhere else and ruin that moment.
My now husband proposed on a walk outside his great great grandmas farmhouse and part of my engagement ring was made out of her engagement ring. He found out about the property not too long before and did a recce before the proposal. He wanted to propose somewhere that had meaning and showed the importance of our future and family.
I had the amazing Bryony Dalton do my make up on the day. She did a glowey pillow talk Charlotte tilbury look. She is just an amazing, calm professional. Me and my sisters want to go back for a make up lesson! A friend, Ellie Bennett who is luckily a great hairdresser did my hair. I wanted to feel like me so just went for my classic – wavy hair! Ellie just makes everything look fantastic though.
