How did Greg Propose?
On a balmy evening, in Rhodes, sat on the beach watching the sunset, Greg was behind me taking a photo and the next thing I knew he was down on one knee! He still remembers, some four years later, the exact words he said when asking me to be his wife. I on the other hand only remember the gesture, the ring and the huge smiles (and a tear or two!).
Where did you get married and how did you pick the venue?
We got married in Old Milverton, Leamington Spa. We wanted a small, intimate wedding with only our closest friends and family. Old Milverton has a beautiful church and a quaint village hall and green. It was ideal for the sunny, relaxed wedding we dreamed of.
How did you find our Boutique?
After trying a few different bridal shops it was actually a staff member elsewhere who recommended we try your boutique.
What made you decide your dress was the one & what did you love most about it?
The dress I chose was completely different to anything else I’d tried on. I’d felt beautiful in lots of them but only when I tried this one on did I feel like a bride. Cliché but true. It was vintage with lace and pearls and fitted perfectly.
How did you accessorise, ie, which shoes did you pick? Did you choose a Headpiece or a Veil, or both?
I actually wore a hair vine rather than a veil. I wanted something I could wear all day and into the evening but also something light and comfortable. It was just right for that extra detail. The shoes I chose were for comfort! They were pale blue heels and I wore them for 12 hours without a problem.
What did your groom wear?
Greg wanted to wear something different than the suit attire he now associates with the office. He chose an open neck white shirt, a waistcoat and black jeans. He wore converse trainers and a pocket watch and wore his signature man bun!
Finally, tell us about your big day .. What was the feel/vibe of the day? Do you have a favourite moment?
The vibe of our wedding was uber relaxed. There were canapes and drinka served outside, outdoor games, gazebos, drinks buckets, a fish and chip van in the evening as well as an ice cream truck! It was the hottest day we’d had so far this year and we wanted people to have fun.

The day caterers were Greens Catering (based in Leicester) and were so professional and lovely. The food was delicious and how they managed to create such masterpieces in such a small village hall kitchen is beyond me!
The food truck was amazing, it was a company called made without gluten (big pink truck).
