Wow what a week this first week has been. For as long as I have been in the Bridal industry I have dreamed of having my own dress shop and for this to finally be happening is amazing. I am so passionate about weddings and wedding gowns, well the whole day and the build up if I’m honest. So this first week has been amazing.
From the simply stunning new wedding gowns arriving from both Essence of Australia and Justine Alexander Signature to ordering the new Flo and Percy headpieces (due to arrive in a few weeks) and meeting the lovely brides to be coming in the door – its been heaven.
As a mother of two I don’t get much down time so my mind and me are constantly on the go. Talking to brides about their day and getting totally immersed in their dream and helping them achieve that magical look they are after is very relaxing. I get to switch my mind off from chaos and into someone else magical dreamland. So for me to have two amazing brides buy their wedding gown on our first Saturday with two completely different looks and locations was brilliant. Seeing girls walking out the door with huge smiles on their faces having made one of the biggest decisions of their wedding, with my help, is what for this job is all about.
I cant wait for the next chapter at The Bridal Boutique, especially the arrival of the Jesus Peiro seems collection due in a couple of weeks.
